  • Vienna Lager

    Vienna-style Lager. This 2012 Gold World Beer Cup Gold winner and 2009 Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal winner is an amber colored lager medium in body with a finish that has hints of caramel and toasted nuts. This beer is brewed with four different malts resulting in its smooth malty flavor. 4.9% alcohol by volume, 20 IBUs

  • Gold Leaf Lager

    International Style Pilsner. This 2010 & 2009 two time Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal winner is pale gold in color, light body with a crisp and dry finish. 4.5% alcohol by volume, 17 IBUs

  • Wintergreen Weiss

    Bavarian-style Hefeweizen. This 2010 Great American Beer Festival Bronze medal winner is a traditional Bavarian-style wheat beer is hazy gold in color, with a lively fruity finish that has hints of clove and banana. This is the beer that started the odyssey that led to the creation of Devils Backbone Brewing Company. During a ski trip to the Alps, DBBC founder Steve Crandall discovered and fell in love with Hefeweizen. Now we bring Hefeweizen to the Blue Ridge. 4.7% alcohol by volume, 13 IBUs

  • Eight Point IPA

    American-style India Pale Ale. This pale bronze beer is medium in body with intense hop flavor and aroma. Our IPA is brewed in the style of the “west coast” with robust hop character coming from American grown varieties of hops. IPA’s are amongst the most popular craft brewed beers as they have moderate strength and tons of flavor. This is not your Grandfathers beer! 5.9% alcohol by volume, 60 IBUs

  • Ale of Fergus

    Brown Ale. Multiple types of malt go into this medal winning beer. Ruby brown in color - light to medium in body. Subtle malt flavors of caramel and toast. 4.1% ABV 18 IBUS

  • Tasmanian Pale Ale

    Pale ale. Hopped and dry-hopped exclusively with Australian Galaxy hops, this deep golden pale ale was inspired by brewmaster Jason Oliver's recent trip to Australia and exhibits a myriad of tropical fruit notes from these rare southern hemisphere hops. 5.8% abv, 50 IBUs

  • Striped Bass Pale Ale

    Pale Ale. Golden in color with a light body and pleasant hop bouquet of traditional noble hops blended with the intense citrus of American hop varieties. With funds from the purchase of this crisp American Pale Ale, Devils Backbone will help support conservation programs of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation! 5.2% abv, 25 IBUs

  • Maibock

    Maibock. This German-style spring beer is a striking hazy orange color. Medium in body with delicious bread notes. One of Jason's favorite styles. 6.6% abc, 20 IBUs

  • Ramsey's Draft Stout

    Stout. This ultra smooth black ale is brewed with five different malts for subtle roasted notes and a velvet-like finish from being poured through a special slow- pour nitrogen stout tap. 4.1% abv, 25 IBUs

  • Azrael

    Belgian Ale. This Belgian-inspired strong golden ale will entice you with her blond good looks! Gold in color, medium bodied with a dry spicy finish. You'll find hints of apple, pear and clove from our unique Belgian Ale yeast. 8.0% abc 25 IBUs

  • Witbier

    Witbier. Hazy straw in color with aromas of spice and citrus from fresh ground coriander, orange peel and a secret DB spice. Belgian Ale & Champagne yeasts provide a wonderful fruity, yet dry finish. A perfect beer to enjoy spring with! 4.5% ABV 15 IBUs

  • Brewhaha, Part Tres

    Black Session IPA. Our third annual collaboration with Harrisonburg's Jack Brown's Burger & Beer Joint. A hoppy black ale with intense drinkability. Full of Pacific Northwest hops such as Mt. Hood, Citra, and Simcoe; this beer blends the spicy, piney, citrus American hop goodness with subtle toasted malt notes.
